Tennessee Board of Regents and Tennessee SAILS Partner with The NROC Project to Enhance Student Success in Technical Colleges Through EdReady

NASHVILLE, TN – June 7, 2025 – The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) and Tennessee SAILS (Seamless Alignment and Integrated Learning Support) are proud to announce their partnership with The NROC Project, leveraging the power of EdReady (a personalized learning tool) to provide enhanced academic support for students. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to fostering student success and preparing individuals for thriving careers in their chosen fields.

The initiative also supports  "Technical College Learning Support," which aims to enhance academic success for all students in post-secondary education, particularly within technical college programs. EdReady will be a key tool in delivering TBR’s Technology Foundations academic support, designed for students who need additional assistance in developing competency in applied mathematics, graphic literacy, and reading for information – all crucial skills for success in technical programs.

This partnership enables a co-requisite learning support model, linking Technology Foundations courses with appropriate technical college programs. This ensures students are concurrently enrolled in both the support course and their technical program, directly applying their learning support to their field of study.

The success of this initiative will be measured by student completion of Learning Support, their enrollment and success in technical college programs after receiving support, and overall graduation rates. This strategic partnership between the Tennessee Board of Regents, Tennessee SAILS, and The NROC Project through EdReady is a significant step forward in ensuring that all students in Tennessee have the foundational skills necessary to achieve academic and career success.
